“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.” – John F. Kennedy
Exercising is essential to maintain good health. Everybody heard this sentence at least a 1000 times before. Right? I think it needs correction. Kangoo Jumps are essential to maintain good health, they are the best medicine for depression, they help release stress, help maintain a positive attitude and give people an opportunity to socialize and make new friends. So let’s brake it down.
Kangoo Jumps are essential to maintain good health. If you jump in these regularly which means 3-4 times a week, not only will you have a beautiful body but you have less chance to catch a cold because your immune system will be on full power. Your blood sugar level will lower or remain on a healthy scale, your metabolism increases which helps with weight loss or weight maintenance, you will sleep better, you will improve your concentration skills, you will lower your risk of cancer, and lengthen your lifespan. Sounds great. This should be enough motivation for people to get to the gym and start jumping!
Let’s continue. They are the best medicine for depression. Let’s just say this. I dare to challenge anyone to try jumping in these shoes. If you manage to do that without laughing or at least a faint smile you are the rare exception of my theory and you have a reasonable excuse for staying home and remaining depressed.
My next statement was that they release stress. I don’t expect you to believe me, but how about believing Dr. Morton Walker the world’s leading medical journalist who specializes in w holistic medicine. According to him: “Kangoo Jumps awaken the inner child and induce an immediate state of euphoria thus decreasing stress.” After a long working day there is no amount of hot bath and massages that gives you the same satisfaction and relief as jumping in these shoes for 15-30 mins. One more thing, it’s a sport for both genders. So guys there are no excuses.
Moving on, they help maintain a positive attitude. By positive attitude I mean when somebody learns to see the bright side of everything that happens and converts problems into opportunities for personal growth. But sometimes even the most positive people lose heart and need to encourage themselves. By popping into these shoes 3-4 times a week the number of occasions when they lose heart decreases wondrously. The endorphin rushes through their blood and shows itself on the face of the people in the form of a huge smile. The smile doesn’t vanish immediately you get out of the shoes, the memory and the feeling hang on to you so you want to go back for more. It’s always the start that is the most challenging.
My final argument is that kangoo jumping gives people an opportunity to socialize and make new friends. The first time you enter the class and try on these shoes, you try to stand up but don’t succeed, then when you finally manage to stand up, you lose your balance and fall back. Don’t worry, there are always 3 people rushing to help you and pull you back on your feet. You feel supported. You realize that these people are potential friends who are willing to help you when you struggle. Also, when the actual class starts and people start jumping in the same rhytm with you it sounds like having one heart beat with the others. The music fires you up so much that you feel like your blood is boiling and you have the smile on your face from the endorphin rush. Do you think anyone could resist being your friend when you feel so good about yourself? No way!
I encourage all of you to step out of your comfort zones and start jumping for your health, to have a good feeling about yourself and for new friendships!
